Day 01
ANTANANARIVO (TANA)
Afternoon arrival in Tana. Transfer by car to your hotel. The rest of the afternoon at leisure.

Day 02
ANTANANARIVO TO ANALAMAZAOTRA SPECIAL RESERVE (ABOUT 3H)
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart by 4×4 to Analamazaotra Special Reserve . Visit of the La Mandraka Reptile Farm for photo-ops of chameleons, frogs, butterflies and many other endemics. Lunch in Moramanga. Check into your lodge. A night walk in the park in search of endemic animal species including mouse lemurs, leaf-tailed geckos, chameleons, insects, frogs, etc.
Overnight at a high-end hotel in Andasibe.

Day 03
ANALAMAZAOTRA SPECIAL RESERVE
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning visit of Analamazaotra Special Reserve (also known as Analamazaotra) home of Madagascar’s largest lemur species, the indri indri and 11 other diurnal and nocturnal species. Lunch in a local restaurant. Chance to visit the Orchid Park. Afternoon visit of the private “Lemur’s Island” to encounter several lemur species including common brown, black and white ruffed…Chance to see the famous fosa, the lemurs’ predator. Another guided night walk in the park to discover more endemics.

Day 04
ANALAMAZAOTRA SPECIAL RESERVE TO ANKANIN’NY NOFY VIA MANAMBATO (ABOUT 4H)
Early breakfast at the hotel. Visit of Analamazaotra Special Reserve to discover Madagascar’s largest lemur species and their natural habitat. Discover other endemics here. Then drive on the picturesque NR 2 to Manambato, a small village in front of Rasoabe Lake with an amazing sand white beach, followed by a short boat ride to Ankanin’ny Nofy overlooking Rasoamasay Lake and the manmade Pangalannes channel. Introductory afternoon guided walk into the Palmarium, a privately-owned nature reserve home to rare Madagascar lemurs, such as the indri. Truly special guided evening walk in the reserve to see the aye aye, the rare and most interesting-looking and critically endangered lemur species in Madagascar.

Day 05
ANKANIN’NY NOFY
Breakfast at the hotel. Whole day to explore, with your knowledgeable English-speaking local guide, the small but fascinating Palmarium Reserve and its beautiful rainforest, in search of diurnal lemurs, more particularly the indri. Afternoon visit of the tropical village on the Indian Ocean to discover a local market, fishermen, essential oil workshop…Another guided night walk in the reserve. Overnight at Palmarium Hotel.
Day 06
ANKANIN’NY NOFY TO TANA
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning trip back to Tana. Lunch in Andasibe. Late afternoon arrival in Tana.

Day 07
ANTANANARIVO – OUT
Breakfast at the hotel. After check out, drive to the Lemur’s Park outside Tana to observe at least 9 lemur species and other fascinating endemic fauna and flora. Chance to do souvenir shopping along the way. Drive to the Ivato airport to meet your flight home.
