Day 01
Tana – Andasibe
Early start from Tana to Andasibe with your English-speaking driver guide. Day 02
Mantadia National Park
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Mantadia, the northern part of Andasibe-Mantadia National Park, an untouched dense rainforest forest teeming with rare and fascinating endemics. Despite basic trails, searches for wildlife here are usually rewarding. Endemic lemurs in Mantadia include diadem sifaka, red-bellied lemurs, black and white ruffed lemurs, and indri. Birding walks in Mantadia are interesting with short-legged ground rollers, pitta-like ground rollers, Miller’s ducks, Madagascar sparrow-hawks, great vasa parrots, nut-hatch vanga, Madagascar cuckoo roller on the top list. Day 03
Andasibe National Park
After breakfast, morning hike in Andasibe Park, known as the Indri Special Reserve where endemism in biodiversity is particularly high. The park has an interesting interpretation center at the entrance. The highlights include the indri indri, the Madagascar’s largest lemur species, Parson’s chameleon, day geckoes, and over a hundred bird species. Admire the view of eastern montane rainforest and its epiphyte plants, such as orchids, bird-nest ferns. After lunch, visit a different part of the park with your naturalist guide in search of more fascinating endemics. Join your naturalist guide for another night walk to look for more lemur species and other fascinating endemics.

Andasibe – Tana
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Vakona private Lemur Island for a unique lemur photo-ops with close encounter with a few lemur species, including common brown lemurs, bamboo lemurs, black and white ruffed lemurs…. Drive back to Tana.
